New beginners' courses
are available throughout the year. Lasting eight sessions, they provide an
introduction to exercises, meditation, push hands and self defence
techniques, as well as teaching the first 14 movements of the Wu style Tai
Chi Chuan hand form.
Beginners' courses are also available in Chi Kung meditation. Your beginners' course can start at any time. There are seven classes a week available to beginners in Tai Chi and two in Chi Kung. (Friday lessons focus on self defence and are more suitable for beginners after completing the eight week introduction.) For full details of the course, as well as details of training at the other levels, please see our Syllabus Sessions last one and a half hours, and the entire course costs £85 including Academy T-Shirt. For either TAI CHI or CHI KUNG, MEDITATION weekday, daytime or evenings, five or eight week courses, call the Academy 020 7033 3993 or email for information and update. The 8 session course is £85 and includes a complimentary club t-shirt.
